Large Business
Generally these are on a fixed price contract, you pay for as much or as little as you consume. Fundamentally computers are reliable if they are configured correctly. As an MSP we have tools and the knowledge that allow us to deploy solutions, fixes and new systems quickly. If you build a system correctly it should work well. In order to keep the call volume down, when we find something that a number of people are suffering from, we solve it properly not a nasty fix/work around. This makes sense to you as your staff are more productive, but it also works for us as they call us less, reducing out costs to meet our contract with you.
Fundamentally we want to get to a place where the directors don’t hear about IT problems, and IT becomes an item that is ticked of the to do list.
We will
- Plan your budgets
- Develop your IT Strategy
- Complete compliance documentation
- Ensure compliance
- Ensure backups / cyber security meeting your insurance companies needs
- Provide a helpdesk for staff to call with issues. Go on site where needed to fix things
- Report back to you things that can approve your IT, that will provide a return
- Work with HR to deal with starters and leavers.
- Manage your internet connections, telephones and if required inventory.
Some large companies will take it all, but some will use us just for the helpdesk. This allows internal IT to do the strategy, build laptops for new starters and deal with management. This means their workload is balanced, phishing attacks, failed computers, failed printers, email issues, users forgotten passwords are dealt with by us. As we do this for a lot of customers we are geared up to do it, meaning we can deal with a failed printer immediately, or at the most within the hour. We have the tools to quickly access a computer and fix it. Your own team may be on site configuring a conference room so this is a distraction which means the room is late in delivery or calls are not answered.
With a small business many are the same, with a large business although there is common ground – each one is very different, so our starting point would be a meeting to discuss who we are, who you are, how we both work, and is there enough common ground to make the partnership a success.
